Launch of Infographic: Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence in Asylum Claims

CSEL are pleased to share our co-produced infographic on how the UK Home Office uses digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in asylum claims.

During 6-months we engaged people with lived-experience and professionals in the asylum system to learn more about their view on the opportunities and challenges of the use of such technologies.  We also learned that people’s understanding of digital technology and AI is hugely varied and we hope the infographic will be widely shared to help people understand how digital technology and AI are being used and provide practical steps.

The infographic, available in;
English
Farsi
Arabic

The project was a collaboration between Centre for the Study of Emotion and Law, Afghanistan and Central Asian Association, A&M Consultancy, Helen Bamber Foundation, Trilateral Research and support from independent researcher Roshan Melwani. The infographic was created by Research Retold.
